I am getting more and more requests from my Pro/E users to install
QuickTime, Indeo Codec video decoder and other industry-standard
softwares and drivers.
Up to now, I have kept our Pro/E workstations free of non-related stuff
to ensure highest resource availability for Pro/E. But now, there is a
growing business requirement for some of these tools.
Does anyone know if these applications conflict directly with Pro/E or
take up resources that would slow down the machine and affect Pro/E
indirectly? Is there a list somewhere of apps and drivers to stay away
from?
If you have had experience with other apps, let me know and I will post
your input in the summary.
