Inner Cutlines or Syncronize

I'm trying to program a fairly simple feed screw using a 4th axis Surface Milling sequence, but no matter what surfaces I choose,

I cannot get a tool path to create on my part using cutlines. It always gives me the error

"Try to use inner cut lines or synchronize".

How do you create inner cut lines or synchronize?

Hello all,

We managed to get toolpaths onto this part, but I wonder if anyone would still

like to explain how to add inner cut lines or synchronize?

Thanks in advance.

Dean,

When creating a 4-axis surface mill sequence on a screw type part, and using
the 2 contour method, you have to synchronize the edge of the first contour
to the edge of the second contour. This is done by picking the edge of the
second contour again. Call me if you want to work through this.

Thanks,

Kent
