Temporary Motion Engine files can be directed to a place other than the
default with the environmental variable MM_TMPDIR.

Original question:
When running a Motion run the engine writes temporary files to the
loadpoint\i486_nt\tmp\directory. We've installed ProE and Mechanica on a
server so we can run them without having to install on the users local
machine. We just create icons on the users machine that have a local
start-in directory. ProE and Mechanica Structure seem to work fine like this
but Motion wants to write files to the loadpoint\i486_nt\tmp\ on the server
and we'd like to make that directory read only.
Does anyone know of a way to redirect these temporary files to a local
directory?
