Minimal acceptable tool length

Hi,

While looking at SPR resolved between Creo 3 M040 et M050, I noticed a document referring to minimal acceptable tool length. (https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?source=SPR%20Viewer&n=CS206102). I tried to add this parameter to one of my tables but it doesn't show anything. Any idea how to use this ? Thanks

This is the manufacturing sheet that goes to my  machine operators. The repeat region parameter is  &mfg.actoper.ncseq.Z_MIN  it shows the tool depth of cut. Very helpful to the operators.

I also added &mfg.actoper.ncseq.z_min for the lowest z value a tool will go.

Nick what are you doing to get the time? I can't get that to work for me.

&mfg.actoper.ncseq.cutting_time[.0]

its not the most accurate maybe 20-30% sooner than actual cutting time.

Thanks Steve for this answer. This parameter refers to the operation point of reference and I don't always put Z at the top of the part !!

I thought the min_acceptable_tool_length would give more accurate results

hello Raphael

Have you any tutorial that explains step by step how to create this table from the beginning?

thank you!!
