Multiple Manufacturing Facilities

All,

How is one handling multiple bend tables in one sheet metal part? I
have a part that needs to be manufactured in multiple manufacturing
facilities, both having different bending allowances and unit systems.

The only process I have found is the "global" sheet metal part can in
fact not be created as a sheet metal part it must be done as a solid
model. Then using the inheritance feature one can convert it to sheet
metal selecting the bend table they so desire.

Problem with this is, telling a user they cannot use the sheet metal
package to create their parts. Creating them as solids is a lot more
cumbersome.

Any thoughts?

Brian,
I am not a sheetmetal guru but for each feature you can define whether to
use the overall part bend table or a specific bend table for that feature.
Would that not solve your problems?
