Hey folks
Has anybody had any benchmarking results from the new Xeon 5400 series
processors? I've reviewed Olaf's site and the fastest thing there is a
Core2Duo E8500 with 4GB ram. I've got a quote for a machine with 2x
Xeon 5482 processors, and 64GB ram, and I'm wondering if it's worth
$18K+ (Hey, I can dream can't I? :-))
The big selling point is that you can run several big processes and you
don't have to wait...
Anybody have any experience?
