how to "correct" parting line in pro mold

Hello again ProE pros...

I have a question concerning the correction of a parting line which is automatically generated in pro-mold.

Please take a look at the images below, how can I correct the parting line on the bottom (interrupted) and top surfaces (it should not follow the edges) of the bottle? I´m in the process of designing a mold to manufacture bottles via the extrusion/blowing technique.

thank you, best regards

Al.

Al,

My understanding is Pro-Mold uses "Silhouette Curves" to generate parting lines. So wherever Pro-Mold cannot generate a Silhouette it will show a gap between the curves.

Please refer the image below for one such example that I tried with.

The best option could be creating a section curve manually and generate a parting line out of that. The image below shows the parting line which I created manually for the same example.
