problems with ROUGHING SEQUENCE after a VOLUME MILLING SEQUENCE

Hello...

I have a question concerning the use of a roughing sequence after a volume milling operation.

1. The first sequence is a Volume Mill, using a mill window as manufacturing geometry. This sequence is used for roughing purposes.

2. I try to create a RGH sequence, using the same mill window, to continue the roughing process.

Unfortunately the the second sequence creates a path that removes all the material that was already removed by the first sequence (VOLUME MILL ) , this means it is not recognizing it, it "thinks" no material has been removed.

What can I do?

regards

Al.

Hello

You`re not doing it right!

The correct sequence for you would be LOCAL MILL !!!!

Roughing sequence is very similar to volume mill so you can`t use it to continue the work that you made with volume mill !!!!
