Thank you guys for the input on the problem I posted. (Thethreadwas identified as projecting a solid onto an oblique plane for a milling operation.)
My real problem is performing the cuts with a flat-bottom milling cutter (e.g. 60 degree included angle, .125 inch edge radius, & .375 nose diameter). The cutter is tilted (say 28 degrees) from normal to trajectory. I cannot generate the necessary geometry of the cut when viewed along the tool path. I can make a "plunge cut" with the tool by performing a revolve. I wanted to use the generated cut's surfaces in the solid workpiece to make my extrusion sketch. I guess what I really need is a "revolve-sweep" command.
Any help with this? Thank you.
Cheers.
