More disappering contacts

Hi,

Another 'straight forward' model.

only 12 contacts

part accuracies are resonably close to each other (certainly, adjacent offending parts are)

The last time I encountered this type of problem, the contacts produced contact force measures that are 'zero' value in the summary file ...

This time, different customer, different models, the contacts completely disappear.

The force measures aren't reported in the summary file; they simply aren't in the list in summary file, where did they go? They are still in the model tree and so are the interfaces.

The contacting surfaces that are causing problems don't show in the post processor when reviewing contact pressure, (not there in other words).

(I can't submit the model to cs unfortunately).

Models created in WF4 M150.

70k elements, WF4 M150, DELL 64 bit.

Any thoughts gratefully chewed over.

Thanks

Additional,

With a reasonable amount of experimentation, 2 of the contacts are back, 1 still AWOL.

Turning off 'split surfaces' for 2 of them brought them back.

Removing 'split surfaces' AND modest mesh refinement has returned the 3rd contact.

Any explanations ... ?
