A new button "Select all text areas" in the working document

A new button "Select all text areas" in the working document

I want to suggest to create a new button in Mathcad Prime which called "Select all text areas", which will select all the text fields/areas in the working document/worksheet, while not capturing the area with formulas. This lets you change the font, font size, simultaneously in all text fields at once.

This may be useful, but wouldn't it be better to use styles to be able to change all text which is "normal" or "Heading1" etc. at once.

Furthermore it would be useful if some format commands work for math and text regions at the same time. If I select a couple of regions and want to highlight them by underlying the region with a specific color to signal that they belong together, I find it very annyoing that I have to do it twice in two different menus.

Also being able again to use custom colors would be beneficial.

Oh my, there are so many things  in Prime which should be changed or implemented ...

Another comment: What you want can be achieved already now. You can use Ctrl-A to select ALL regions (text and math) and then format all the text as you like. Because Text and math regions have each their own format tab (unfortunately), it does not matter that math regions are selected as well. What you set in the "Text Formatting" tab will only affect text regions.

Thank you. This solution works. In Mathcad Prime formatting formulas and text is divided and it is convenient, but it can not be done in Mathcad 15.

As I have already written I don't find it convenient that text and math formatting is on separate menus. For uniformly text formatting styles like in Mathcad and any word processing software are much superior tools.
