Mathcad Prime Features:

Add a feature that allows control of instruments from Mathcad. Somewhat similar to National Instruments programs. Control via HP type of interface. For example write a simple program to output a setup command to the instrument then readout and graph findings, store data so I can process with Mathcad commands.

Some years ago (1997) Mathcad 7 had a feature called MathConnex that claimed to do this. You also included a control link via VisSim and Matlab.

We haven't added this feature to Mathcad Prime yet, but from Mathcad 15 you can work with Lab View 2010, and earlier versions. There is an example in the QuickSheets.

Control using National Instruments software will work. Unfortunately I do not have NI software, costs money! This feature should expand your customer base.
