All features of a graph/diagram/chart need to be accessible from outside the graph (chart component) so that it can be adjusted by the results of a computation and without needing to open it every time something changes. E.g.
- axis scaling and units
- Title and legend
- graph type e.g.; log vs. standard
- placement of markers and textboxes within chart
This would help a lot in data analysis and report preparation
