Our research group uses Mathcad 14 for most of our data analysis and data interpretation. The problem comes when we need to produce journal publications in that there is no way to readily export Mathcad plots in a form the journal will accept – ideally vector graphics. Several postings have discussed elaborate methods of converting Mathcad plots, but we have always had to resort to exporting the data and using software such as Sigma Plot to produce journal ready graphics. This is very time consuming and can lead to errors.
When Mathsoft purchased Axum some years ago I hoped some Axum capabilities would be incorporated into Mathcad instead Axum disappeared. Surely preparing report ready graphics should be a high priority for Mathcad
