List/Combo box functionality which was there in Mathcad-14 has been removed in Prime 3.1. Due to this the data extraction from excel components inserted in Mathcad Prime 3.1 has become very difficult. This kind of drop down menu box must be provided in future version of Prime so that we can leverage on the data handling capability of excel components integrated with Mathcad.
I have a large database of certain dimensions for different products in Excel. I want to call the dimensions for a particular product that I specify as an input. If I have a drop down menu functionality then I can directly select the product for which the data extraction is required. Presently due to absence of drop down menu feature in Mathcad Prime, the product name has to be typed in manually which at certain times results in bad output because of typing errors. If a drop down menu will be present then the user can directly select the required product & it can then be used for extracting the dimensional data from excel component thereby making Prime more user friendly & eliminating the chance of error.
