Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to encourage PTC to make changes in the way Mathcad saves backup copies.
Mathcad forces the user to save the backup copy to a server folder, where the corporate program resides. The file name becomes too long, the copy is not saved, and at the first crash, all is lost.
I suggest that Mathcad allow a user-specified folder to circumvent this problem. This should not be difficult to implement and is a common feature in other programs.
