Need a way to clear all variables & a vector graphics editor

These days I use mathcad for homework. As it is, I have to put each problem in it's own sheet to avoid accidently reusing a variable from a previous problem. Then I export each to it's own pdf and glue them together. I wish there were a 'clear' function like there is in matlab that would wipe out all previously user-defined variables.

I'd also like to see a Vector graphics editor (like xfig) built in so we can draw on our sheets. I've always thought of mathcad as a piece of paper with a built in graphing calculator. But what kind of paper is it that you can't draw on? Using images for this is clumsy. And bitmap editors like windows paint are too painful to edit the results in. It needs to be a vector graphics editor. Such a thing is almost trivial to code.

This feature will be available in Mathcad Prime 2.0 (release scheduled for the end of February this year).

I can see were your coming from with this but I find a worksheet with variables used multiple times confusing and hard to follow. Obviously the clear function will indicated that variables have been cleared, but I still believe in long calculations it will be difficult to follow.

This has been long standing request. I truly hope PTC prioritize this is the near future.

Mathcad Prime 2.0, which will be out shortly has a clear(x,y... ) function to clear variables for re-use further down the sheet. Also the clear.sym(x,y... ) function allows you clear said variables for use in symbolic applications whilst retaining numeric values.

With regards to drawing capabilties, for the moment you can use embedded excel components and the draw capabilties from Excel. The strategy for Prime is to have this abiltity to sketch in the product very soon.
