Output matrices to a clean, formatted table

Output matrices to a clean, formatted table

Currently, tables can output to matrices.  But currently there is no way to output matrices into a neat, labeled, formatted, clean table acceptable to display to customers.

At the end of a long calculation, we need to be able to display results in a clean, well-formatted table.  We cannot presently do this.

I would add that it would be nice if the input tables were formattable as well.  Words with quotes around them look like garbage and unprofessional.  It would be nice if the tables had a way to create descriptive labels that aren't necessarily a part of the array - both for the table as a whole and for rows and columns or groups of rows/columns.  I currently use Excel components for input and output tables so that they look nice, but when files get big, those tables get super buggy, especially with long chains of linked files.  It would be nice if I didn't need to use those anymore.

You could try exporting data to a file and then reading into Excel as a workaround while this this functionality is not present.

I agree.  I posted this response on a older thread of the same concept by mistake.

So if I want to use Mathcad over Excel, I need to frequently use multiple scenarios instead of single sets of calculations times the number of scenarios I am investigating.  I could display specific scenario input like this:

But in the end I could have a similar table, reusing the variables '#' and 'Scenario'.  As it stands I need to build a more complex matrix or do fancy formating to make a results table.  See next two examples  (not so bad if I do say so myself, but not the best)
