Richer math input

1. Describe your environment: What is your industry? What is your role in your organization? Describe your stakeholders.
Structural Engineering

2. What version of Mathcad are you currently running?
The most recent version of Mathcad Prime (from version 3 to 8 now)

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.

Improve the typing and the presentation when writing formulas/math.

In the same way the typing sequence: a + (ctrl + g) produces an alpha (greek a)

I suggest more typing aids (ctrl+v , ctrl+a, ...)

For example:

    If we want a variable name for a vector it could be: v + (ctrl + v) -> v̅

    If we want a variable name for an angle it could be: A + (ctrl + a) -> Â

    If we want a variable name for a first derivative it could be: s + (ctrl + .) ->  ṡ

    If we want a variable name for a first derivative it could be: s + (ctrl + 🙂 ->  s̈

And some others that could be useful.

4. What is the use case for your organization?
Vaious

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?
Better presentation.

Greatly improved readability in many cases.

Can you please elaborate on the "various" use cases?

Seriously?  The elaboration of use cases would get it over the line?

How about

In my case I would use mainly vector and angle symbols, eventually some others.

As @ppal suggests, there are many different cases where a richer input for math will be useful many different types of users.

In my original post I meant:

If we want a variable name for a first derivative it could be: s + (ctrl + :  ) ->  s̈
