Mathcad 15 has long provided the ability to embed hyperlinks to other Mathcad worksheets and opening up external web links in the default browser.  However, it does not allow secure links to pages starting with https:  Some corporate networks (intranets) run entirely on https:, this renders Mathcad 15 external hyperlinks useless.  Enhancements would include:

  1. Allow links to https: pages from Mathcad 15 in the next (last?) maintenance release (M050).
  2. Include links to https: pages when hyperlinks are introduced into Mathcad Prime (5.0 hopefully).

I don't think that this feature will be introduced in 15 version.

Hope springs eternal. 

I think there is still an M050 maintenance release scheduled, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

This now works in Prime 6.0 for both http:// and https:// addresses.  Thank you PTC!
