Thanks for your support!

I`ll try that - at first I will need to get access to the license management section of the website. So I will have to get in contact with the customer care service.

Best regards!

Mathcad 14 is no longer supported but you can try:

To transfer your Mathcad 14 license, you must use the PTC Customer Service Web site, log in to your account, and navigate to the "Manage Licenses" section to find and then move your license from the old CPU ID to the new Host ID of your desired computerAfter initiating the transfer online, you will receive a new license file via email from PTC, which you then save and use to activate Mathcad on the new computer.

Steps to Transfer Your License
  1. Find Your Old CPU ID: Before you leave your old computer, go to Mathcad's \"Help\" or \"Mathcad Orb\" menu, select \"Options,\" and go to the \"License\" tab to note your current CPU ID.

  2. Go to the PTC Customer Service Website: Log in to your account on the PTC website.

  3. Navigate to License Management: Find the section for managing your licenses.

  4. Search for Your License: Use the "Advanced Search" option to search for your license using the old Host ID or MAC address you noted earlier.

  5. Transfer the License: Select the checkbox next to the license you want to move and then click the "Move License" option.

  6. Enter the New Host ID: You will be prompted to enter the Host ID of your new computer. You can find this new Host ID on the new computer by opening the Command Prompt (cmd) and typing ipconfig/all to find the Physical Address for your Local Area Connection.

  7. Receive and Save the New License File: PTC will email you a new license file for the new Host ID. Save this file to a secure location.

  8. Activate on the New Computer: On the new computer, install Mathcad. Then, go to Mathcad's \"Options\" > \"License\" tab, and select "Get License." You will then browse for the new license file you received from PTC and open it to complete the activation.

Important Notes
  • Support for Mathcad 14:
As Mathcad 14 is an older version, official support from PTC for license transfers may be limited.
