Mathcad Express installation failure

1. Received an email for the Mathcad Express download

2. Clicked on button, the file pim_installmgr_mathcad.exe was downloaded.

3. Run the a.m. file. Extracting... window appeared, when completed it closed and no installation happened

I have a 64-bit operating system with windows 10.  Tried to run as administrator as well.

Thank you.

Try the following tips:

1. Create a backup (or just archive) of the config file (in this directory: C:\Users\CurrentUser\AppData\Local\PTC\)
2. Delete the current config file (in this directory: C:\Users\CurrentUser\AppData\Local\PTC\)
3. Run Mathcad Prime again

Thank you Vladimir, but those solutions do not work for me. Please note, that Mathcad Prime has never been installed on this machnine. It is the installer which fails to start in my case.

Try using the installer from here: https://alfasoft.com/product/mathcad-prime-9-trial/

I have downloaded and unpacked the installer. When I run setup.exe, Windows ask if I allow the software from PTC Inc, to make changes to my computer. After clicking OK, for some seconds the circle runs at the cursor, but nothing happens. No message, no file generated.

I have run the  PrimeWixinstaller_64bit.msi from the ptcsh0 folder of installer, and it finally worked.
