Hi,
We have an old LMTools running providing an license for MathCad 11.
I would like to transfer the license to a new supported server, but I'm stuck with the license file itself.
I did manage to start the license server, but I'm receiving an error: (mathsoft) Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)
I cannot find any contract, customer nr or anything, so I cannot create a case with PTC.
Can anyone help to transfer the license to a new server?
Thank you

It may be an 'old' Mathcad version, but it's the best (my personal opinion). A shame if it would get lost.
I guess your issue is close to this topic: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad-Installation/How-to-Transfer-Mathcad-license-from-an-existing-Host-ID-to-a/m-p/788323#M1599
As this topic mainly is about Prime, I think you had best go to the final paragraph of it, the one that starts with "Note".
Success!

Hi LucMeekes,
Thank you for the reference, but I do not find any kind of identification to let PTC transfer the license. Their support team could not help me on that one.
The only thing that works, is to setup a new server with same hostname and IP address. I no other solution is possible, I leave it like that.
1. This version of the program is no longer supported. Read this announcement for details: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad-Tips/Official-PTC-Mathcad-15-and-Prime-1-6-End-of-Sale-Announcement/ta-p/818870
2. You can turn your attention to a completely new release, which should be released this month - Mathcac Prime 9.0: https://www.mathcad.com/en/blogs/whats-new-in-ptc-mathcad-prime-9
