Hello,
I want to assign a number in "d" from "b" in the following way. Firstly, I will input any number in "c". Secondly, I want to acquire the index number from "a" such that the value of "a" matches with the value of "c". Thirdly, Then with that, I will assign a value from "b" to "d". I can do the first and third part but cannot do the second part. It will really be helpful if you please help me out.

Something like this?
why did you give an index "0" around the brackets ("c,a").

Because "Match" and also "Lookup" return a vector of values as there could be multiple values found. The vector index 0 (or you could use ORIGIN) just takes the first one.
In your example there is only one value found but the result still would be a vector, a 1x1 vector/array.
Thank you very much
