I am trying to understand the Hasofer-Lind safety index method but I have found no references with a complete but simple example illustrating this method. Has anyone on the discussion forum attempted this and if so would they be willing to upload their example template so that I can examine what they have done so that I understand it. Unfortunately all the references I have describe lay down complicated math which doesn't give one an intuitive feel for this important concept which is often used in quantitative risk assessments.
