Mathcad power in solving optimization problems are very well known and I have demonstrated this in my optimization worksheet for a PSO problem.
Here, binary GA algorithm is used to solve an optimization problem and the results are confirmed by using Mathcad power in optimization. The results are very very nearly the same.
Though the program is lengthy, but can be used to solve other problems by suitable choice of chromosomes. This program tooke a time to do it.
