I really do not like Prime 2.0 at all, I have not been able to open my exiting Mathcad 15 files or convert them to Prime 2.0.
I cannot waste time now recreating all my existing Mathcad 15 files into Prime 2.0
Prime 2.0 does not even permit create text from calculations as we do in previous Mathcad versions. I have tried to put a variable, and as before, hit the space bar to convert it into text, and this option is not part of Prime 2.0.
I would like to know if (like when we buy something in a grocery store that we do not like) I can put my Prime 2.0 back and receive my money back.
Regards,
Rogelio
Did you receive a free version of M15 with your purchase of Prime 2.0?
Where did you purchase your copy?
Mike
I did not need a M15 because I have it since few years ago.
My company bought Prime 2.0 from PTC, I suppose.
Why?
In that case I suggest you contact them directly. Links can be found at the site below.

Thanks,
Rogelio
Rogelio,
You can't open your Mathcad 15 files directly in Mathcad Prime 2.0. There is a conversion program under the Ribbon Input/Output tab or you can run the Mathcad XMCD, MCD Converter program directly from All Programs > Mathcad. You can do batch conversions of multiple files. The converter preserves all data, then annotates anything this is different.
In order to run the conversion, you need to download Mathcad 15 M010, not use your Mathcad 15.0.
Mona
Mona, thank you for your response.
Where can i find this Mathcad 15 M010?
Do we have to pay for it?
Rogelio
Rogelio,
You can download the free trial version of Mathcad 15, which is the M010 release, at
http://www.ptc.com/products/mathcad/mathcad-15-0/free-trial.htm
You do not have to pay separately for Mathcad 15 M010. Your Mathcad Prime 2.0 license should work for both versions of Mathcad.
Best regards,
Mona
I visit the web link, and it says that will expire in 30 days.
how can i get the permanent version of the new Mathcad 15?
Please see the instructions for licensing both of Mathcad Prime 2.0 and Mathcad 15 here: http://blogs.ptc.com/2012/03/01/mathcad-licensing-part-3/
You can apply the license you received for Mathcad Prime 2.0 to the trial version, and it will not expire. I don't know how you received the Mathcad Prime 2.0 license, but it should have included instructions for licensing and receiving Mathcad 15 as well. I will check.
Mona
You can download Mathcad 15 M010 from http://www.ptc.com/support/mathcad_downloads.htm by entering your Prime 2.0 product code. Prime 2.0 customers should use the Prime 2.0 license to run Mathcad 15 as the license is backward compatible..
I hope this helps.
