Can MathCAD files be converted to Ubuntu alternatives such as SMath Studio?

Has anyone tried this... really important for school that's about to start :E I would like to keep using open source alternatives but I must make sure I can still learn like the rest at my schyool. Thank you!

As far as I know:

Smath studio has limited capabilities to read Mathcad14/15 .xmcd files. No possibilities to read Prime .mcdx files.

Hi,

SMath Studio claims it has the capacity to open and save Mathcad *.xmcd files.

This conversion is not perfect.

It does not read or save Prime *.mcdx files.

In terms of your study wait and see what the teachers use.
