Can't edit untitled under certain conditions

Start MP1a. See + in new 'untitled' doc.
Open two other saved MP docs.
Return to untitled. + is gone; can't edit doc.
Saved the not editable doc; could edit it in a new session of MP1a.

Repeatable.

This is listed under known issues. We didn't want to delay the Alpha test while we fixed this issue.
