Hey everyone - after a computer crash / Vista reinstall, I have to reinstall
Mathcad 14 - but Mathcad won't talk to me without me plunking down more
cash - I used to do Mathcad 8 - but was it my mistake for getting involved with
the PTC version of this software?
Can anyone help?
TIA pattiMichelle
You shouldn't need to plunk down any more cash. You just have to deal with PTC's horrible licensing the way they want you to do it. Try going here:
http://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/mathcad_logger/options.jsp
And log a licensing issue.
It's relatively straightforward. I think you need to provide the bootdrive disk serial number, and PTC will generate a node-locked license file for your installation.

Thank you very much! That worked very well. Now I find I've lost the Wavelet Toolbox disc I purchased at the same time (it came in a small sleeve - easy to loose) - do you know if they have a way to replace such things? I never even got to install it!
