Does anyone know if you are able to convert files created in MathCad Prime 3.0 back to MathCad 14 format. I have the converter that allows me to convert MathCad 14 worksheets to be used on Mathcad Prime 3.0, but my colleagues all have MathCad 14 and therefore can't open files that I create in prime.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Unfortunately Mathcad Prime does not support backward capability.
Prime 3.0 can't even save files to Prime 2.0 format!
The problem you are having is one of many reasons I don't use Mathcad Prime.
Ok, hindsight is 20/20 I guess..
Thanks!
I would suggest just using M14 like your colleagues
Is there any specific reason you are using Prime while all your coworkers use MC14?
After all Prime3 still is a huge step backwards, even compared to MC14.
Unfortunatley my computer only has a license for prime 3.0.
Every copy of Prime comes with a free license for Mathcad 15 (you buy the tail and get the dog for free, as someone here has called that).
The Prime3 license file (not the product code) is valid for Mathcad 15, too.
You can download Mathcad 15 install it and point it to the license file of Prime3.

And MC14 and MC15 share the same file format - no conversion necessary.
