Continuing from Part 2-A, this is Part 2 - B.
This file is a little rough comparatively, one lengthy discussion.
Its not an easy topic. Answers are there.
Topics here include:
Chapter 7 First Order Circuits - Schaums Outline Electric Circuits 6th Edition:
7.10 Response of first order circuits to a pulse.
7.11 Impulse response of RL and RC circuits.
7.12 Summary of step and impulse responses in RL and RC circuits.
7.13 Response of RL and RC circuits to sudden exponential excitations
7.14 Response of RL and RC circuits to sudden sinusoidal excitations
7.15 Summary of forced response in first order circuits
7.16 First order active circuits.<--- NOT doing this because the component is Op-amp.
Op-amps are great, but here we focus on the
components which Schaum focus on in Laplace
Transforms in Chapter 16. Does NOT impact the
studies for Laplace Transforms. Would require a
refresher topic on Op-amps, that may be
excessive. Not difficult to solve the Op-amp circuits
problems in comparison.
Level: Intermediate.
Any and all errors and omissions apologies in advance.
Q7.23
Good you looked in to that solution.
If I remember correctly I had a complaint.
You used the Laplace method for the solution.
I plan to get there after I complete some pre-requisite chapters in complex frequency.
Regards,
Karl.
I dont plan to correcting the pdf now file because it encourages other to find that solution should they have need for it. I left it for others to take up that challenge. It takes too much work for now, but later maybe. I will go thru it when I get to Laplace. My objective when I started on this was to get the pre-requisites down first.
Now a days I am not one to go to length on the mathematical side of things more into what is available and how to use it, too many circuits to fool with and too much references. You can see the value of using Laplace solved your problem but first a better understanding of complex frequency is needed, Laplace maybe just plugging in a process run thru the steps........actually it is. Appreciate it.

Karl.
Hi,
a few years ago I created worksheets with Mathcad 15 related to active filters, an example is attached, what do you think of it ?
