How to reduce the blank area of a collapsible area

Hi,

I am new to Mathcad and have just learned the feature of collapsible areas.

Now, does anyone know how to reduce an unwanted area within a defined collapsible area? Understad the inserted area automatically increases to accommodate more content as writing. But when I remove some of the content, it won't shrink, leaving with a large unused space in the worksheet. I couldn't find anywhere one could manually drag that area to reduce its size.

Does anyone come across the same problem? I'm using PTC Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.

Regards,

Frank

You should be able to delete empty space with the 'Del' and 'Backspace' keys of your keyboard.

That works as long as the cursor is on a 'line' that is completely empty.

Success!

Apart from using the keyboard as explained by Luc (and which probably often is the fastest and most convenient way) you might as well try the ribbon menu (Document-Spacing-Remove Space) or the right mouse click context menu, where you also can choose "Remove Space".

https://support.ptc.com/help/mathcad/r9.0/en/#page/PTC_Mathcad_Help/about_context_menus.html

All methods have in common that the cursor must be placed between two regions (meaning in an empty space in-between) which sometimes can be demanding.
