Is it possible to substitute a dollar sign for the Money 'square'?

Hello,

I have Mathcad Prime 4.0 and would like to work with a dollar sign versus the little square symbol (see below).  It seems possible in earlier versions of Mathcad but I can't figure it out.  Any suggestions?

I'm doing something wrong.  I can define a unit, but Mathcad's not taking the $.  Is there another symbol for dollars (versus the keyboard) I should be using?

I can't tell from your view but your $ doesn't appear to be blue, which then it isn't a unit.

MathCad defaults to certain units; the square must be one. If you change the unit to "$" in your result, the "$" unit should remain if you change the values of "a" or "b".

One more question.

I've changed the output unit to the '$', but my matrix keeps the 'square'.  Is it possible to format an element in a matrix so that it returns a '$' (see below)?

Unfortunately, you can't change the units in a matrix.

You could make a table:
