Tram goes first in a straight line with a radius equal to infinity, then the tram goes to the turning section, where the radius changes smoothly from zero to r, then tram rides along an arc with a radius r, then goes to the tram turning section, where the radius changes smoothly from the river to zero, then the tram again goes in a straight line.
Than we can solve a dynamic problem - what is an acselration in the tram?
Tram kinematic is more complicated problem, path would be piecewise function that resembles rectangle with rounded (fillet) corners. Maybe Odesolve would be needed, but possible. Ah so many ideas so little time. This one is few years old. I build those solutions for checking homeworks, I have nicer one built in prime but cannot publish, it's still in use.
