Good evening, all.
I am in the process of migrating some old MATHCAD 15 worksheet to MATHCAD PRIME 10 ones.
I came across this vector field plot that MATHCAD 15 was able to plot and I found that the latest PRIME versions do not have such a plot type.
I am pretty confident that someone in the community made some script to replicate such a function.
I already saw some attempts made in other threads. However, they work for 2D vector plots.
Any chance that someone did for the 3D vector plots as well?
I am showing below the type of plot I am looking for.
Thanks in advance for your time and support.
Regards,
Gianfranco

Vector field plots in Mathcad 15 were 2D plots as well, even though you would have to do it in the 3D-plot-region.
Here is an attempt I created at the times of Prime 2, but it still applies:
Vector Field Plots in 2D for Mathcad 15 and Prime
According real 3D vector plots you would have to be more specific, give examples, etc.

Good evening, Werner.
Please see below an example of a vector field on a sphere. I am trying to plot the potential flow of a sphere and I got stuck about the 3D representation.
Given the mediocre capabilities of Primes 3D plots it sure would be demanding to try to duplicate this plot.
You sure have already found the (Mathcad 15) sheet created by Stuart Bruff

But converting it to Prime format did not work - the plot fails with an error.
Not sure if that could be fixed.
Thanks Werner. Very useful indeed.
