Hi, completely new to MathCad (using MathCad prime 6.0). I'm doing some engineering work and simply need MathCad to understand "ppm". I've tried to find a solution on this forum and via google to no avail.
For example, I can assign "25%" to a variable and when I output that variable I get 0.25. But when I assign "25ppm" to a variable, it doesn't understand. Any suggestions?

Make sure that you define ppm with the label of 'unit', rather than 'variable'.
By default, in Prime it will be(come) blue, bold and italic: ppm.
Even better, thanks!
And for other noobs out there who run across this, you need to apply a label to the "ppm", so it becomes blue color. Do this by going to Math->Style and then use the drop down to change from "variable" to "label".
