Hello,
I need to formulate the follow relationship in proper math symbols:
Differential in A (last days value minus today's) has a tendency to reach the Differential in B (today's)
I though this could be expressed with
AΔ -> BΔ
BUt I guess there are more elegant and mathematically correct ways to do this
thank you!
Dave
I'd guess:

Thank you very much Luc - looks great!)))
Can you also help me understand what the following type of equation means:
f:= a → b
In Mathcad?
Well, you can get it in the following manner:
b is assigned 1 (numerically) then it is undefined for the symbolic processor of Mathcad.
Then a is assigned the value of b.
And finally f is assigned a, with a symbolic evaluation. That reveals that a is actually b, and hence f is effectively assigned b.

Success!

Alec - I think I need to modify the formula -actually I need to express that
magnitude of Differential in A is DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO Differential in B
The time span is only one day (each day) so the time cannot go on till eternity:)
Can you help me with this?
Let's give it a try. How about:
