There's a known bug in pre 4.0 versions of Prime with regards to the determinant of  matrix, especially if it has complex valued elements.

It was fixed just before the release of Prime 4, one of the reasons that release took so long, and just a couple of more days in the end.

See here:Using Prime 3.0, the determinant function does not handle a matrix with complex numbers. Don't how to fix it.

There still is a bug in Prime (4.0) regarding norm of a matrix.

Hmmmmh... your Result looks very strange.

I got the same Result in the latest version of MP4.0 like you in MC15.

Are you working with MP4 or with a former version of MCP?

I have only MP4 and MC15 running on machines.

So I can't check it in MCP3.1

Here is the result in Prime 3.0 - all OK

So either Valery once again tried to fool us with one of his tricks or we see a bug which was introduced in P31 and was fixed in P40.
