Using the Improved and Easy-to-Use Excel Component in Mathcad Prime 2.0

Hello All,

Today marks the beginning of a series of blogs about Mathcad Prime 2.0 and some of the features that you can anticipate. Read about the Excel Component in today's post, "Using the Improved and Easy-to-Use Excel Component in Mathcad Prime 2.0", watch a brief video demonstration, and see what a Product Definition Engineer at PTC has to say about the new component. Here is a brief excerpt:

"In Mathcad Prime 2.0 we put all of the information in front of the user in the worksheet. Instead of hidden properties in dialog boxes, the inputs and outputs are now directly visible in collapsible Input and Output sections of the Excel component are displayed above and below the Excel data table itself. Input and output expressions are used to define the input and output data properties that reference cells of data and calculations in Excel using standard Excel syntax. The Excel component is also clearly visible in the task ribbon, so it’s easy to find and navigate to. And if you’re new to Mathcad Prime 2.0, you can simply hover over the properties for “Tool Tips” that teach you how to interact with the Excel component.”

I hope you enjoy!

I must add that this feature is a massive improvement on old Mathcad versions. This along the new table features is exactly the way Mathcad Prime should be heading.
