Hallo.
I have some trouble with this.
I have to find the polar notation and rectangular notation.
I can find the answers from my normal calculator. But how can I type it in mathcad, and solve it there?
The answers are 340∠-10.9 and 334-j64.3
Solved! Go to Solution.

The answer depends on the Mathcad version you use - Prime or Mathcad 15.
Here we have one of the very seldom cases where Prime outperforms Mathcad.

No, thats wrong! At least thats not the answer for the calculation given in your picture.
You can use
![]()
for input and

for the output values.
In Prime you get the nice display as you want it out of the box:

but in Mathcad 15 you will have to define a few functions yourself, use some "tricks" (Ctrl-K, Infix and Prefix operator) and the display of the result is still not satisfactory at all:

Thank you.I forgot to post some values, but I understand how it work.
