Hi
How do you calculate number of turn in a coil
An inductor core of reluctance 5.2 MA/Wb, cross-sectional area 245 mm2 and length 454 mm is evenly wound with a coil. When a current of 0.5 A flows in the coil, a magnetic flux density of 0.127 T is set up in the core.
Calculate the number of turns in the coil.
thanks
Can you write the equations?
We won't do your homework for you; we will help you sort out problems.
Hi
I am struggling to find an formula given the parameters, not asking you to solve the problem Any suggestion?
If you are asked this as a homework question, then you must have been given the formula for the magnetic field generated by a coil.

You need to show that you have made some attempt to solve this by yourself. If you have a specific problem we will point you in the right direction, but as Fred says, we will not do your homework for you.
