conect mathcad in the window from mathcad was display in0="x^2+x+10" this a string mathcad can use this to funktion ther is no eval funktion to make a function with string is ther a other way to use string to make funktion

Do you actually want to pass the formula, or do you just want to pass the value? If you want to pass the value you need to figure out how to get the value, rather than the formula, from the cell. If you really want to pass a formula to Mathcad, that is possible, but certainly not easy. You would need to modify the XML of the worksheet via the automation interface. In future you are better off going to this forum: http://collab.mathsoft.com/~mathcad2000 It is the main Mathcad forum, and has a lot more traffic than this one does. Richard
