mathcad

I want to create a template in Mathcad with a table in this specific format. I've been trying but haven't been able to find the exact method to achieve it. Could you suggest any workarounds or solutions for this?

I guess we are talking about Mathcad Prime.

While you can insert graphics in a Prime sheet and can position it and the math regions freely, Prime offers no means to create the kind of table you show. A 'table' in Prime is something completely different and Prime is not a spreadsheet program.

You seem to need a grid of vertical and horizontal lines around the graphics and the math regions which as I guess would be hard to achieve using e.g. text regions with ASCII characters for the lines.

Prime also does not have an option to draw a border around text or math regions.

So if the grid is mandatory I guess there is no easy way if at all.

Without the grid lines you may be able to help yourself by coloring regions differently which is an option offered by Prime.

What you would have to do is put together a set of Text boxes that would join to simulate the form you want. You can enter math in a text box by inserting a Math Region in it. Then save all of it as a TEMPLATE.

The issue is that I do not know how to create the borders in Prime. I remember doing them in Mathcad 15. Maybe it could be created in Mathcad 15 and then converted.

Region borders will be a thing in Mathcad Prime 11, but they aren't currently a thing in the current version.

I manage the Creo and PTC Mathcad YouTube channels for PTC, as well as all PTC Mathcad marketing in general.
