How about this?  I'm not sure why Mathcad can't make the simplification on its own.

Thanks! I tried expand but it seemed like I was going the wrong way. I gave up too soon. Who would have thunk it.

Try using the keyword "rectangular".

Yes, expanding is "going the wrong way," but sometimes you can get lucky by expanding and then simplifying a portion of the expansion as I did here.
