usage of fsin and fcos

How does Mathcad handle sin and cos, appearantly Intels implementaion has its limitations...

https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/289702

On Line

sin(36001)= 0.01745241

Mathcad

Excel

0,01745240643728350

so not really relevant but better than Excel?

Could be depending on the FU or GPU used, juts in case...

regards

You certainly don't mean 36001 but 36001°, aren't you?

I am not sure what your question is.

Are you moaning about the fact, that there is a difference between sin(36001°) and sin(1°) in the 14th decimal?

Did you run into any problems because of this?

I guess if your calculations really rely on more than a dozen significant decimals, Mathcad may be the wrong tool.

BTW, you can't embed pics via copy and paste, you have to use the "Insert Image" icon to do so.
