Just wondering if anyone has either gone through the Windows 10 to 11 upgrade while running Express 8.0 to see if it works, or has installed on a Windows 11 PC.
Thanks

Creo Direct Modeling Express 8.0 is not officially supported on Windows 11. It was released before Windows 11, and support typically aligns with operating systems that were current at the time of the software’s release.
For the best performance and compatibility, you might want to use it on an operating system that is officially supported, like Windows 10. If you do try running it on Windows 11, you might encounter compatibility issues or need to adjust settings to make it work.

Creo Direct Modeling Express 8.0 is a relatively older version of PTC's Creo software, and it was primarily designed for older operating systems. Although it might technically run on Windows 11, it is not officially supported or tested for compatibility with this newer OS. Running such legacy software on a modern OS can lead to potential issues or instability.

Thanks for giving great answer. I also ask this question.
Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express 9.0 was published round about in May 2025 (based on my personal investigations).
Part of the ===>> System requirements (as mentioned in the official PTC page) is.
So, you might wanna update your installation..
One issue that has been resolved for now is the problem of the server not responding when trying to enable Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express via the activation key. This problem had been ongoing for several years, with many requests and much confusion here (and in other forums as well).
