Hi,
Thank you for your replay
bye
As my post title " Model name", I need some information about it.
In particular in tne "Create New Part" there is the possibility of insert the "Model Name" but in assembly i can not to write informations. is it correct? and what is the function of "model Name"?
Thanks in advanced
You cannot rename the root assembly "/". It is not a real assembly. It is the root (the top) of the structure list.
You cannot see the reason with Modeling Express since it stores only packages pk2. pk2 files are a compilation of files.
With his big brother Modeling, files can be saved individually. Each part and assembly has its own set of files. As the root assembly "/" is not real, it is not saved.
Case 1: these two parts have no link, in particular, their position.
Case 2: the position of these two parts are written in the assembly "a1".
Physically, you should think about these two cases as:
It is recommended to put parts in assemblies (case 2) for reuse in other assemblies of other pk2 files.
