Creating Isometric and Trimetric views

Instructions for creating Isometric and Trimetric views in Creo 2. 

A Creo 2 part is attached for you to experiment with.

Creating an Isometric view

Saved Views > Front

View tab > Orientation group > Reorient

Type = Dynamic Orient

For V type -45 and press Enter

For H type 35.2644 and press Enter.

In Saved view section, type a name e.g. Iso_view and click Save then OK

Save your model with the new view

Create a Trimetric view

Saved Views > Front

View tab > Orientation group > Reorient

Type = Dynamic Orient

In V field type -40 and press Enter

In H field type 30 and press Enter

In the Saved Views section, type a name for the view e.g. Tri_view and click Save then OK.

Save your model with the new view.

you can also reset the default view to isometric..............

1.  click on named views

2.  Front

3.  Click on named views again and select reorient

4.  Under type select preferences

5.  Leave Options at model center

6.  Change default orientation to Isometric

7.  Click OK

I beleive this will hold for future models as well.

Kindly provide solution for Trimetric View
