FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) is another program for High School students. FTC presents more of an assembly design challenge rather that a design from scratch challenge like FRC. This year's game was Hot Shot! The new game will be announced in September 2010. It's a great time to get a team started and register. They need mentors and corporate sponsors, too. Let me know if you need help finding a team in your area. BTW, PTC provides the kit of parts modeled in Pro/ENGINEER to help the kids get started.
